Yoga Journey is a studio whose heart is in its community. We truly believe that if we share the gift of yoga, people will take this wonderful practice out into their everyday lives…feeling better & doing better. This is the most important part of what we do…It takes a village and by sharing this special practice, Yoga Journey helps make that village as strong as it can be. That’s what Yoga Journey is all about!!! 

Leslie and her team of teachers share the physical, spiritual, and emotional gifts of yoga. Opening the door for anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of this amazing practice is our mission. From people recovering from illness, injury, or loss to elite athletes and everyone in between, building a strong vibrant and diverse yoga community is a big part of everything we do.

The opportunity to experience yoga can be manifested in so many beautiful and enriching ways and Yoga Journey works very hard to create unique high quality programming. We are always looking for new and special ways to share the gift of yoga with everyone who seeks it. Our offerings include: Daily Classes, Continuing Education Workshops, Teacher Trainings, Complimentary Community Classes, Worldwide and Local Retreats, as well as a host of special events.

With 30+ classes per week offered at our beautiful studio in the Wyndham Hotel and Online, we offer something for everyone with some of the best teachers in South Florida. The classes include Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation, Gentle, Chair Yoga,  Movement classes and Book Club/Discussion Groups, all styles taught by inspired highly qualified and motivational teachers, appropriate for all levels of students. We deliver an array of valuable and informative workshops carefully selected for both students and teachers. Yoga Journey also does both Vinyasa and Yin Yoga 200 hour Trainings as well as a +300 Hour Teacher Training certification at the studio.

Class Descriptions

Gentle - Suitable for all levels, gentle yoga is a slower paced, rejuvenating yet calming class. This class includes breathing techniques, gentle flowing movements, strengthening, stretching and restorative poses. Props and modifications are offered to allow students to access poses with integrity and ease to the best of their ability. It is a perfect class for beginners, those with physical limitations, or more experienced students preferring a slightly gentler practice.

Lunch & Learn - This is a discussion group that explores all aspects of yoga theory, philosophy, social issues and so much more. Topics change weekly and guest teachers are brought in for special topics as well. This donation only class supports the Yoga Journey Teacher Training Scholarship Fund.

Meditation - Join the Yoga Journey Meditation Team for a Mid-Day Meditation. Each member of the team has something really special to offer. Come and experience the benefits of a consistent meditation practice. No experience necessary.

Vinyasa - All levels vinyasa, linking breath and movement with intelligent and creative sequencing. Expand your practice, building strength, grace, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Yin - Yin yoga is made up of long holds, slow movements, and a deep dive inward. You will find a strong focus on the breath. This quiet and meditative practice is an opportunity to nurture your body as well as your mind. Appropriate for students of all levels.
