Yoga Community in Boca Raton

Yoga has always been about more than what happens on the mat.

Leslie built Yoga Journey around a deep love of community and a belief that the practice of yoga can reach far beyond the studio. When we practice together, we create a sense of connection and support that extends into the world around us.

For more than 14 years, Yoga Journey has been part of the Boca Raton community, creating opportunities for people to practice together, connect with one another, and give back. From our weekly Yoga in the Park to community gatherings, fundraisers, and partnerships with local organizations, we believe that when we share the gift of yoga, we carry its benefits with us into our everyday lives, feeling better, doing better, and giving back.

Yoga Journey regularly supports local charities and causes, including S.O.S. Children’s Village, The Boca Raton Community Garden, Best Foot Forward Foundation, STEP, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Connection Coalition, Connected Warriors, Kindness Matters, the MS Society, Y12SR, and many others.

Giving back is one of the most important parts of what we do. It really does take a village, and we believe that by bringing people together through yoga, we can help make that village a little stronger.

That is what Yoga Journey is all about.

Saturdays at 9:00am · Sanborn Square · Boca Raton

For many years, Leslie has been committed to bringing the Yoga Journey community together every Saturday morning for Yoga in the Park. What began as a community class has grown into a beautiful weekly gathering, with 200–300 people coming together each Saturday to move, breathe, and connect.

Yoga in the Park is about more than practicing outdoors. It’s a place to see familiar faces, meet new ones, and experience the energy and connection that comes from practicing together. Whether you’ve been part of Yoga Journey for years or you’re joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome.

Can't make it to the park? You can practice anytime with a recorded Yoga in the Park class, along with a library of many other classes, on Leslie Glickman Yoga YouTube.

Yoga in the Park is a donation-based class, with contributions supporting the Yoga Journey Teacher Training Scholarship Fund. If you’d like to contribute, you can register for the park class and leave a donation.

Share Your Experience - Yoga Journey has always been about community, and we're grateful for everyone who has been part of ours. If you've practiced with us, we'd love to hear about your experience.

Giving Back

Our community extends beyond the studio. Over the years, Yoga Journey has supported a variety of local charities, organizations, and causes that are making a difference in the lives of others.

Y12SR – Yoga for 12 Step Recovery

Y12SR brings together the practices of yoga and the principles of 12-step recovery to support people navigating addiction and recovery. The program recognizes the connection between physical, mental, and emotional well-being, offering a welcoming space to explore healing and connection through yoga.

Y12SR is open to people in recovery, as well as those whose lives have been affected by a loved one’s addiction. Meetings are offered both in communities and online, making it possible to connect wherever you are.

Kindness Matters 365 - Kindness Matters 365 helps children and teens build the skills they need to care for themselves, support one another, and make a positive difference in the world around them. Through experiential programs rooted in social-emotional learning, they encourage self-awareness, empathy, resilience, personal growth, and a commitment to service.

Their work reflects a simple belief we share at Yoga Journey: when we learn to care for ourselves and others, we create stronger, more connected communities.

Connection Coalition

Connection Coalition, affectionately known as CoCo, brings trauma-informed yoga and mind-body practices to communities through trained local volunteers. Their programs help children and young people develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and a stronger sense of connection through yoga and other evidence-based practices.

Since 2003, CoCo has reached more than 20,000 young people nationwide, equipping communities with tools that support social-emotional learning and well-being.

Their work reflects the power of yoga to reach far beyond the studio—creating connection, building resilience, and giving people tools they can carry into everyday life.

See the Endless Possibilities Inc.(STEP)  -  See the Endless Possibilities (STEP) helps women pursue greater opportunities through education, providing scholarships and mindfulness tools to support women working toward degrees in engineering and other STEM fields.

Programs like STEP are important because education can open doors to greater independence, opportunity, and long-term change, yet financial barriers and the pressures that come with pursuing a demanding degree can make that path difficult. By combining financial support with tools for mindfulness and well-being, STEP helps women not only access educational opportunities, but have the support to navigate the journey.

We’re proud to support an organization that believes in investing in women and helping them see and reach, the possibilities ahead.
