Leslie has been teaching yoga since 1994 and offers the dynamic flow of Vinyasa, the deep experience of yin, and the stillness of meditation. Her Pause, Breathe, Notice, Feel ideology is the basis for her approach to teaching. Bill Knowles

Bill originally started yoga for the physical practice and thanks to amazing teachers, realized there was so much more. Within 6 months of taking his first class, he decided to do his teacher training. Leslie was recommended, they met and the rest is history. That was about 11 years ago, he started teaching immediately after graduation and never stopped. Trained in Vinyasa Flow, his classes are exactly the way he prefers to practice, lots of movement, interesting sequences, unique poses and eclectic music. He wants his students to be challenged, but not defeated. His classes might not be easy, but they're gonna be fun! Come along for the journey.

Chrissie Heath

"Inherently drawn to movement and the structure of the human form as a former competitive dancer, Chrissie Heath was introduced to the yogic practice as a child by her mother to complement her study of dance. After losing touch with yoga during her adolescent life, Chrissie was once again reunited with spirit on the mat in 2015 as she was searching for a deeper connection with herself and her community. After diving into her personal asana, pranayama, dhyana practice, she felt a calling to begin her formal yogic studies under the mentorship of Leslie Glickman.

Succeeding her 200hr YTT with Yoga Journey in 2022, Chrissie's entire life naturally began to evolve in ways that served her dharma. She left her 9-5 job, and fully devoted her spirit to the wellness and evolution of her community and her own heart. She teaches yoga at different studio spaces throughout South Florida; specializing in vinyasa and gentle styles of the asana practice. In addition to her yogic path, Chrissie also serves her community as a personal stretch-therapist and tarot reader.

Chrissie deeply believes that the application of yoga to anyone's life brings a harmonious balance of body, mind, and spirit that remedies the physical, mental, or spiritual maladies that harms us. Her yoga classes offer students a safe space to mindfully explore their bodies and spirits in a judgement-free sanctuary. Whether joining her on the mat in a gentle or vinyasa class, students will have the opportunity to break down the asana practice to their personal level and achieve the progress and support that they are seeking!"

Emily Allen

Emily has been a lifelong student of yoga. She was first introduced to the practice as a child while tagging along with her mom to classes, and has continued to deepen her practice for the last 15 years. Growing up as a gymnast and cheerleader, she’s always been drawn to physical practices that require a deeper sense of body awareness, and the physical and mental challenge that comes with it. She's always in awe of how the body moves and what it’s capable of with practice and a good amount of play.

In 2022, Emily decided to deepen her practice and understanding of yoga by diving into her first 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Yoga Journey, and has been teaching ever since! It was here that she understood how yoga is so much more than a physical practice, touching all aspects of the mental, emotional, and spiritual realms as well. Beyond her teaching experience, Emily has her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State, and is able to masterfully bring her understanding of anatomy and physiology into her classes, whether it’s through a precise cue or an explanation into what systems of the body are working.

She brings a fun and fiery energy to every class, encouraging students to find moments to play and find their edge through her creative sequencing. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned yogi, her classes are full of modifications and variations to meet you exactly where you are.

Lisa Sefton

I am originally from Liverpool, England but have been in the United States since 1993.

I worked in the Early Childhood field for over 30 years but was so passionate about yoga and only wanted to be in the yoga world, so when an opportunity opened up to join the yoga journey team I jumped right in. I earned my 200 hour certification under the training of Leslie Glickman via Yoga Journey Studio and currently teach in the Boca area. I love that my “job” is actually my passion, a dream come true! When not on my mat you can find me curled up on the couch with a book and warm cup of tea.

Ruth Sanders.jpg

Ruth Sanders

Ruth Sanders lives in Tamarac FL with her husband and is grateful to have her children and grandchildren living close by. She started practicing Yoga in 1995. Her love for how her practice changed her life in both mind and body made her want to share her passion and received her 200-hour teacher certification in 2010. Thirsty for more knowledge, she completed her 500-hour training in 2016 with Leslie Glickman which lead Ruth to a new purposeful insight in her classes. Over the years she has had multiple injuries and surgeries. She figured out firsthand how to keep up with her practice despite whatever physical limitation she was dealing with at the time. She brings this insight to her teaching, allowing her classes to be accessible to all levels with an emphasis on centering through breathwork. Ruth teaches a variety of styles of Yoga, but the common thread throughout all her classes is adapting and modifying the practice for all students. Ruth is certified with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500, is certified in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness Meditation, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, and also holds yoga certification with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Shea Carey.jpg

Shea Carey

I am Shea, a yoga teacher who is passionate about supporting pregnant and new mamas create balance in their lives through sacred movement, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and connection. In 2020, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training here at Yoga Journey. Shortly after, I learned I was pregnant with my son and as my body began to grow, so did my practice. Yoga, during my pregnancy, helped me listen to my ever-changing body and trust my instincts in ways I never have before. I felt seen, heard, and validated as I shared about my nerves and anxieties surrounding new sensations in my body, childbirth and becoming a young mom. It even gave me the space to connect and bond with other expecting mamas who shared similar feelings. Community building and sisterhood was honestly my most valuable takeaway. Overall, the experience allowed me to feel in tune with my divine body and prepared me for labor and delivery. I remember walking away from each class feeling so peacefully empowered, that it encouraged me to teach prenatal yoga to hold space and guide other expecting moms.

Shona Castillo.jpg

Shona Castillo

I am an E-RYT 500 Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher. I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years. Originally from New York City, I worked in the corporate world post university as a Market Research Director. In 2001, I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis after years of enduring stress and anxiety. This diagnosis proved to be a wakeup call, a reminder that happiness and joy is how life should be lived. Yoga saved my life and now yoga IS my life. My yoga allows me to nurture my relationship with myself - to be observant, mindful, and compassionate. Yoga is not what I do, it is how I do what I do.  I have two boys who I am teaching to meditate! And I am the Program Director of CROS Ministries’ Caring Kitchen. The Caring Kitchen is a hot meal program that serves and delivers meals to the hungry and homebound in Delray Beach, FL. Besides yoga and meditation, I enjoy running, living, loving, laughing, dancing, singing, and playing my ukelele.

Zoe Hyams.jpg

Zoe Hyams

I was born and raised in London, England and have lived in the USA since 2006. I began practicing yoga in 2014 as a way to heal my body from a back injury but found that yoga delivered something that I didn’t even know I needed. Yoga has been not only therapeutic for my body, but healing for my heart and mind and it is for this reason (and so many more) that I wanted to teach. I deepened my practice by completing my first 200 hour teacher training with Leslie Glickman at Yoga Journey and have been teaching Yin Yoga ever since. I likes to use visualization and breath work in my sequencing to deliver calm and ease to all who practice. I do VP Marketing & PR for a group of beauty brands and live in Boca with my two incredible dogs, Teacup & Crumpet. I love Harry Potter and my favorite thing to do is spend time with my twin brother and sister in law! I cannot wait to share my passion for yoga with the community both in Boca and globally via zoom.
