The Evolution of 21drops to K Sahai

An interview with student and friend Kavita Sahai.

Why did you change the name to K Sahai?

Sahai means companion, protector and helper in Sanskrit which felt closer to our mission.  We want to accompany people on a journey of self-discovery, love and joy. Protect them using superior quality ingredients to help them to be their best self while also helping our planet! Moreover, I took over 100% ownership and gave it my heart and soul, therefore I wanted to stand behind it with my name.

What else is different?

Clean Beauty, Customized

We have expanded into clean, customized beauty to find an inclusive solution that addresses everyone’s individual needs. Since the ancient Babylonians, we have addressed skincare and wellness through rituals and tonics with what surrounds us – the power of nature. Each oil incorporates your origin story by including oils sourced from the same land as your ancestors to connect you to that land. Also, usually botanicals from your ancestral land are the ones that are most beneficial to your skin type. Mother nature knows best.

Human Design

Human design incorporates a lot of different spiritual modalities and astrology. I have personally found it transformational and we have combined it with our face serums to create a completely personalized skin care routine including 30 daily texts based on your human design type. We also have a lot of information on Human Design on our site and on our social channels if you want to explore the topic.

Weekly Ananda (Joy)

Women are not always in the boardrooms or governments but through purchasing power we control policy. I want to give brands that are doing business the right way a platform to be seen. Yoga Journey was recently featured =) Every week we highlight a business that shares the values we think are important: promote self love/wellness, zero waste, culture of giveback, sustainable practices, cruelty free, etc. We also promote an artist and include some sassy astrology, journal prompts and a mantra to make it truly joyful. Learn more about K Sahai and how to sign up for your Weekly Ananda HERE.
